Set for release! "Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur" will hit theaters nationwide on December 11.

This latest installment in the Doraemon animated film series has been introduced with the assistance of Open Culture's parent company.

This film marks the 50th anniversary of the beloved Doraemon franchise. Directed by Kazuaki Imai and written by Genki Kawamura, it narrates the tale of Nobita and his encounters with two little dinosaurs. The film features the voices of Takuya Kimura and Naomi Watanabe, with Mr. Children performing the theme song.

The release of "Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur" has experienced several shifts. Initially scheduled for release in Japan, it was postponed due to the pandemic, eventually debuting on August 7. Traditionally expected to meet its Chinese audience during the Children's Day slot, the film is now slated for a December 11 release.
