These achievements have laid a strong foundation for the popularity of its anime adaptation

In a biannual survey conducted by the Japanese anime news website "Anime! Anime!", asking readers which light novels or novels they would like to see adapted into an anime, the original novel of Shangri-La Frontier has consistently ranked high since the second half of 2018.
