Aoi Hinata (played by Miwa) and Riku Hasegawa (played by Kentaro Sakaguchi) have been childhood friends. Along with their friends Naoya Matsuda (played by Ryo Ryusei) and Tetsu Nakamura (played by Yuki Izumisawa), they form a band. Naoya secretly harbors feelings for Aoi and decides to confess his love during the summer festival. However, Aoi's attention is fixed on the aloof and enigmatic Riku. Amidst Riku's tender moments and distant demeanor, Aoi struggles to understand her place in his heart.

During the summer festival, as the band performs, Aoi, distracted, causes a disastrous mishap and tragically dies in a traffic accident. Astonishingly, she wakes up a week before the incident, an incredible experience revealing Riku's hidden secret and rapidly altering their relationship.
