As night falls, residents of Kasukabe drift into a magical, wondrous dream world, where every wish is granted, and every desire fulfilled. This dream world brims with joy and contentment, a realm of limitless possibilities. However, when a girl named Saki Mubatama arrives in Kasukabe with her parents, the city’s dreams take a dark turn. Almost overnight, the once-warm dream world turns bleak, haunted by pain, sorrow, and fear. Disturbingly, these dream disasters start seeping into reality, and it’s clear that Saki is somehow linked to these harrowing events. To uncover the truth, Shin-chan (voiced by Akiko Yajima), along with his friends Kazama (voiced by Mari Mashiba) and Nene (voiced by Tamao Hayashi), embarks on an investigation.
